Hello! I’d like to introduce The Wedgefield Chronicle and what we would like to do here.

Wedgefield has been described to this writer as “quirky” and this writer finds that to be an accurate description.
Quirky – adjective – having many quirks unusual in especially an interesting or appealing way.

One of the common threads in social media posts and elsewhere common to Wedgefield is how the community between the boundaries of SR 520/50 and SR 528 pulls together, how they (we) are willing to help a neighbor out regardless of our differences.
I think that’s pretty special, and I would like to help out.

So, while this site will include news, features, and opinion/editorial pieces, it is also designed to be a stand-alone repository of resources for people in Wedgefield. New information is posted as it is released, and under other headings available on our landing page you’ll find a repository of news and information about Wedgefield, and immediately surrounding areas in Orange County.
